Yes, two OMDDMS
® courses (Applied Operating Model: Design and Delivery course (AOM:DD)) have been released, and are only available through accredited ATOs.
The
Foundation course includes an introduction to operating models, a design and development method, supporting
framework, operating model practice organisational structures and how to set them up, case study
exercises, and a series of production-ready artefacts with examples.
The Foundation course will help to increase the candidate's skills by providing a pragmatic understanding of what is involved in transforming their organisations using the OMDDMS concepts and techniques. It has been designed for specialists and non-specialists alike by providing an overview of the theoretical and practical resolution to operating model transformation challenges.
The
Practitioner course helps the candidate to identify and resolve typical problems and challenges facing operating model transformation, understand the implications and impacts associated with operating model transformation so that they can quickly assess the transformation activities as well as operating model maturity to help direct activities properly and with reduced risk.
This course supports candidates with a clear, simple, and usable definition of an operating model and provides a common language (from the OMDDMS
® standard) to understand how to design and deliver operating model transformation.
The courses are particularly useful for
3 important groups involved in operating model transformation:
- those who direct
- those who manage, and
- those who deliver
