CPD Accreditation for OMDDMS® Foundation and Practitioner
What CPD accreditation means for candidates, and what to do with your CPD hours once you have them.

Deliver itWhat CPD accreditation means
OMDDMS Ltd's two official courses, OMDDMS® Applied Operating Models: Design and Delivery Foundation and Practitioner, have been accredited by The CPD Standards Office. OMDDMS Ltd creates and quality assures the courseware and administers the exams; it does not deliver training. Training is delivered only through Accredited Training Organisations, so wherever in the world you train, you sit the same accredited course.
Because accreditation attaches to the courseware itself rather than to any one provider, every candidate receives the same content, examined to the same standard, regardless of delivery organisation or country. On completion you receive certification carrying the accreditation mark, which can be submitted to an employer or professional body as CPD evidence.
Why it matters
Accredited CPD keeps your knowledge and skills current, satisfies professional bodies and regulators, and supports progression into more senior roles. Across more than four hundred regulated sectors worldwide, tracked CPD is frequently a condition of maintaining a licence to practise, and CPD Standards Office accreditation is recognised internationally.
A documented CPD record turns effort into evidence you can produce at appraisals, promotion rounds and accreditation audits. Research from The CPD Standards Office links CPD directly to employability, with a CPD section on a CV potentially improving a candidate's chances of securing a role by as much as ten per cent. For operating model transformation specifically, an accredited certificate offers an objective, verifiable benchmark of the capability held within a team.
What to do with your CPD hours or points
Your OMDDMS® certificate confirms the number of CPD hours awarded for this training. Here is what to do with them.
Keep your certificate
Your certificate is your evidence. It shows the course title, the date, and the number of CPD hours awarded. Store a copy somewhere you can retrieve easily. Most professional bodies ask for evidence only if you are selected for audit, sometimes years after the training. Your certificates are also available via your MYOMDDMS portal.
Check your professional body's CPD scheme
CPD requirements vary by institute. Annual hours or points targets, how structured training is categorised, and whether a reflective statement is required all differ. Check your professional body's CPD policy to see how this training maps onto their scheme.
Log your CPD activity
Most institutes require members to self-log CPD activity, usually through an online portal. You will typically need to record the activity type (formal, structured training), the provider name, the date completed, the hours awarded, and a short reflection on what you learned and how it applies to your role.
Retain your records
Most schemes require CPD evidence to be kept for two to three years for audit purposes. Keep your certificate for at least this long.
Need accreditation details?
If your institute asks for proof that OMDDMS® is a CPD accredited provider, contact OMDDMS Ltd and the accreditation reference will be provided.

Exam vouchers are valid for 12 months, though we recommend taking the exam within one month of completing the course. CPD hours are awarded upon attending the course, completing the reflective exercise, and passing the exam. Your Accredited Training Organisation provides a one-time exam voucher code at the end of the course.
Frequently asked questions about CPD
Questions about the provider number, CPD hours, certificates and evidence for your professional body.
01What is the OMDDMS® CPD provider number?
The OMDDMS® CPD provider number is 51019. OMDDMS® accredited courses are listed on the CPD Training Providers Directory (opens in a new tab).
02Which OMDDMS® courses are CPD accredited?
The Foundation and Practitioner courses. OMDDMS® Applied Operating Models: Design and Delivery Foundation and OMDDMS® Applied Operating Models: Design and Delivery Practitioner have both been accredited by The CPD Standards Office. The Combined programme delivers both, so it carries the CPD hours for both.
03How many CPD hours are awarded?
20 CPD hours or points per course. That is 20 for Foundation and 20 for Practitioner, or 40 for the Combined programme. Hours are awarded upon attending the course, completing the reflective exercise, and passing the exam.
04What should I do with my CPD certificate?
Keep it, log it, and retain it. Keep your certificate as evidence, check how your professional body's CPD scheme categorises the training, log the activity through your institute's CPD portal, and retain the records for two to three years in case you are selected for audit. Certificates are also available through the MYOMDDMS portal.
05Do I need proof that OMDDMS® is a CPD accredited provider for my professional body?
Contact OMDDMS Ltd and it will be provided. If your institute asks for proof that OMDDMS® is a CPD accredited provider, contact OMDDMS Ltd and the accreditation reference will be provided.
06Who delivers the accredited courses?
Accredited Training Organisations, through Accredited Instructors. OMDDMS Ltd creates and quality assures the official courseware, and accreditation applies to that courseware when it is delivered by an Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) through an Accredited Instructor.
07Which countries and sectors expect CPD?
CPD is expected across more than 400 regulated sectors worldwide. Professionals in Africa, Australia, Canada, Europe, Hong Kong, India, the Middle East, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK, and the USA are commonly required to undertake tracked CPD, and it is frequently a condition of maintaining a licence to practise.
08How does an accredited certificate help my career, beyond the CPD hours?
It builds credibility and demonstrates accountability. An accredited course builds confidence and credibility, and demonstrates accountability to employers, clients, regulators, and professional bodies, supporting progression into new or more senior roles.
